The NRM will also seek to awaken Nigerian citizens to their fundamental rights as guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution.
URGENT MESSAGE !!:
Nigerian students, unite. Civil servants, unite. Intellectuals, unite. The millions of unemployed Nigerians, let us come together. Nigeria must not be allowed to finally fall and rise no more. Write us and join our discussion on google-Google group is Nigeria Rally Movement: http://groups.google.com/group/nigeria-rally-movement. Send a mail to the group on nigeria-rally-movement@googlegroups.com.
This discussion is based on our belief that we must start organizing for change; going to the streets and mobilizing those our corrupt politicians recruit to kill, maim, and rig elections for them. We must be smart enough to beat them to the game. We the oppressed must rise together and challenge the oppressors.
Nigerian students, this is your chance. You have no nation and no future if you choose as usual to watch and hope.
Why this is important:
1. It is unlikely that our politicians and their godfathers will surrender their destructive advantage without a demand by the rest of Nigerians.
2. The level of looting of our commonwealth is simply unsustainable.
3. Nigeria is doomed if there is no change of heart by those rulers; and it is unlikely there will be.
4. Politics, as we have in Nigeria now, will not bring any good to our nation but reproach.
5. Our students and youths cannot compete with the rest of the world if we do nothing.
Dwight Eisenhower: "A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both."
Nigerians, what privileges do we have that we should value above our principles of hardwork, integrity etc? We have nothing to lose if we dare, but everything to regret if we don't.
